3 Schools Partner to Expand Degrees

Residents of the Northern Panhandle who have an associate’s degree from West Virginia Northern Community College can easily continue their education at two other state schools thanks to an agreement between WVNCC, West Virginia University and WVU Tech.

WVU and WVU Tech will offer online courses that enable students to complete their bachelor’s degrees while living and working in the Northern Panhandle. This articulation agreement is designed to define a clear path of course work leading to graduation.

West Virginia University
Multidisciplinary Studies Degree (B.A.)	The MDS degree allows students to choose from three minors to package an educational program that meets their career needs.
Nursing R.N. to B.S.N.	The School of Nursing provides registered nurses the necessary online classes to complete a bachelor’s degree.

West Virginia University Institute of Technology
Accounting B.S.	Students with an associate’s degree in accounting from WV Northern will be able to matriculate into Tech’s bachelor of science degree program.
