

The Executive M.B.A. is going online in fall 2010. Students will take their classes online and have four on-site residencies where they can meet their classmates and expand their educational experience. The residencies include orientation on campus, a trip to Washington to see first-hand the intersection of business and government, a venture capital fair in Morgantown, and an executive project with a business. Students can also go on one of the college's sponsored international trips.

Admission Requirements
Students must submit a West Virginia University Application for Graduate Admission and official transcripts from all prior academic work must be forwarded to the Office of Admissions and Records. Students are also required to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) and submit a current resume. Three letters of recommendation and a statement of purpose can also be submitted if desired.
Course Content
Students have a foundation in information technology and information systems, managerial and team skills, the business and strategic environment, corporate and finance regulation, managerial economics, financial statements analysis, managerial accounting, marketing, management science/operation, working capital management, and business law and ethics.
Executive MBA program students also have the opportunity to study abroad in Germany, the Czech Republic, China, or Italy. The College of Business and Economics is accredited by AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
